violacea: (jon can make me come hither any day)

There will be no concert tonight after all. The snowpocalypse is upon us, and [livejournal.com profile] leighblack and I, while we love Cary Brothers a lot, aren't passionate enough about him or anyone else on the bill to risk our lives on the highway. ::shakes fist at Mother Nature::

Anyway, I'm spending part of my evening instead ripping audio from the Panic AT&T Blue Room performance.

- During the intro to "But It's Better If You Do", is Jon seriously perving on Spencer? When Spencer's trying to bend over and talk into his mic, Jon's over there saying things like "oh yeah, that's nice". Also, I know his "take it off" refers to Spencer taking the mic off the stand, but still, paired with the rest of his dialogue, it sounds so incredibly dirty. Ahahahahaha. And also, Jooonnnnnn, say that stuff to me ALL THE TIME PLEASE.

- Okay, this was funny over the weekend; I wandered past some post - probably in [livejournal.com profile] patd, because that's the haven for scary girls - where girls were seriously traumatized by the fact that Spencer's v-neck t-shirt shows that he has, gasp, choke, CHEST HAIR. The horror! ::pats couch:: Spencer, come over here and sit by all the older women who appreciate a real man, okay? :)

- Jon "Rattlesnake" Walker. ♥

- Oh, Ryan. You're a little off there in "Do You Know What I'm Seeing?", bb.

- Seriously, my favorite thing about this whole thing is how it's Jon's show. Probably because Brendon admits to being really sick somewhere in the middle, but still, Jon's in charge of the introductions (except for when he decides to make Spencer be in charge, which is always laughable, because Spencer is the most competent person in the world until you make him ad lib on a microphone). Jon's the most comfortable with the whole setup - if he wasn't there, the other three would be stammering and staring at each other, you can tell. This is one of the many reasons why Jon is awesome.

- Spencer: "Spontenaiety is contagious." Ryan: "So is the flu." Ahahaha, someone's a little grumpy here.

- Ryan's percussion debut. Oh, honey. I laugh EVERY TIME they show him halfheartedly tapping his guitar. I kinda want to pat him on the head.

- They are SO SICK of "I Write Sins Not Tragedies". I love that Brendon can't even keep a straight face through the introduction.

- "When The Day Met The Night" is about the only time you can actually tell Brendon is sick, because the opening verse sounds really scratchy. But, man, he and Jon and Ryan on the chorus harmony? ♥ ♥ ♥

And here, have some mp3s from the whole thing, since I finally got Total Recorder to be my bitch again!

Nine in the Afternoon
But It's Better If You Do
Do You Know What I'm Seeing?
That Green Gentleman
I Have Friends In Holy Spaces
I Write Sins Not Tragedies
When The Day Met The Night

The rest of my night will either consist of more Torchwood or Guitar Hero. There should be writing in there somewhere, too, but I'm not making any promises.
