friending frenzy
Oct. 11th, 2006 01:03 pmOkay. Randomly ... I have an awesome, awesome friends list. You all know that. A lot of the reason it's so awesome is that I've picked all of you up from so many different places - real life, fandom, writing, other interests. Sometimes, with more than 200 of you hanging around, those of you who don't know each other intersect in ways that make me think "wow, I think those two would really like each other!" I'm always tempted to introduce people, but have no idea who's looking for new LJ-style friends! So ... consider this entry a friending frenzy, of sorts. You can do one of two things (or both!):
1) Comment with a brief introduction - who you are, what you like, what you talk about in your journal. Then, anyone in the mood can skim the comments and talk to/friend anyone who catches their interest!
2) Ask for an introduction. Something like "hey, I'm looking for someone who likes the same music as I do" or "name someone I can talk about anime with" - anything, and I'll try to hook you up with a name. :) Or, if someone comes along, reads your request, and says "hey, that'd be me!", go for it, have a conversation!
Go on, be sociable. I've met some of you through similar posts on others' journals, so these things do occasionally work nicely! :)
