Usually I don't read fics like this, with any sort of supernatural element to them, but I've been looking forward to reading this one since the summaries were posted. (It took me forever to get around to reading, though; sorry about that.)
This was well-plotted and perfectly paced, with excellent characterization. You created this world and truly made me believe in it. Stylistically your writing felt like I was reading an actual book -- I noticed another commenter said this, but it was on my mind the whole time I was reading the fic. Fantastic work!
