This? Is utterly and completely AMAZING. After reading through all of the bigbang summaries MONTHS ago, this was actually one of the ones that I was looking forward to the most. tonparapluie and I were just discussing several bigbang fics last night, and we concluded that this one could either turn out bad-cheesy or REALLY FUCKING COOL, and you, my friend, did NOT disappoint. *beams*
This actually kind of reminds of Tithe, by Holly Black (and that's a compliment--it makes the short list of fantasy books that at the end of the day, I honestly all-around enjoyed). Though I haven't read it for years (junior high, maybe?), the intricacy of your world and a lot of the aspects of the fae court just remind me of it.
