Exactly - Jack, at this point, is rather like the Doctor in that way; he's been around too long, seen too much to probably ever have One True Love. He's capable of a lot of love, but as long as he's effectively immortal, it's going to be spread out amongst a lot of people.

On the subject of the Jack/Ianto kiss, was Ianto even conscious for that? Because I don't think he was, so I don't think he has any idea. Jack, on the other hand, was definitely avoiding the issue. Poor Jack ... out of the two team members he seems to be attracted to, one picks the asshole, and the other one is attempting to hate him. He can't catch any breaks. ;)
