First - I laughed really hard when I saw that picture used as the cover. Mostly because a) I'd forgotten it existed and b) it works SO WELL for my story!
Second - I knew I was going to love this when I saw "Home" in the track list. You may not know if you're not on my friends list, but Carbon Leaf is my all-time number-one favorite band in the WORLD. Any mix that includes them is automatically awesome. \o/
Third - I laughed even harder when I finally realized what bit the bonus track was for. Oh, Gabe. :D
Seriously ... I loved this. It's full of artists I've heard and liked and been meaning to check out more, like Alexi Murdoch, Ellie Goulding, and Jay Brannan. (How much do I love that Alexi Murdoch song, by the way? It's so perfect for the story!) And Janelle Monae is always the correct choice, no matter what kind of mix you're making. :) Thank you,queen_of_goat, this is something I'll listen to often!
