ooh, I loved this. The 'it's not death just a disease' approach to vampirism is my all time favorite. I also loved Patrick's moral approach to it and his recognition of the creepy and horrible aspects of it all. The part about how he started at 14 was less happy-making. Poor Patrick. Good thing he's got Pete now. ;)
